Women’s Legal Centre Easy English Guides – Service Companion

Women’s Legal Centre ACT has developed a suite of Easy English Guides (Guides). They
include:
• About family violence
• How to stay safe from family violence
• Family violence orders and going to court
• About divorce
These are information resources for people who are dealing with family violence or
relationship breakdown. This document provides guidance on how service providers can
use the Easy English Guides to assist clients in dealing with these topics and the legal
processes around them. The Guides and Service Companion are general information only,
